About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and the general basis on which Digi Maniac Creative Studio provides services. Individual projects are governed by the written proposal and agreement we sign with you — if anything there differs from this page, that agreement takes precedence.

Using this website

You may browse and use the site for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt it, extract data from it by automated means, or copy its content for commercial use without permission.

Enquiries and quotes

Nothing on this site is a binding offer. Prices and timelines quoted in a proposal are valid for the period stated in it. Work begins once scope and cost are agreed in writing.

Ownership of work

On full payment, ownership of the deliverables produced for you — designs, source code, edited photographs and video — transfers to you. Until then, they remain ours.

We keep ownership of our own pre-existing tools, frameworks and internal components, and of any third-party assets licensed for your project (fonts, stock media, plugins), which remain subject to their own licences.

Unless you ask us not to, we may show completed work in our portfolio and marketing.

Your responsibilities

• Provide content, approvals and feedback within the timelines agreed — most delays start here.
• Ensure you have the rights to any material you give us (logos, images, copy, music).
• Keep your own accounts and credentials secure after handover.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in each proposal, typically as a deposit before work starts and the balance on delivery. We may pause work on overdue invoices.

Photography and video shoots

Shoot dates are confirmed on booking. Postponement or cancellation at short notice may incur charges for crew and equipment already committed. Conditions outside our control — weather, venue access, permissions — can affect a shoot; we will always work with you to reschedule.

Limits of liability

We take care over our work, but we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you have paid us for the project it relates to. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction over any dispute.
